I purchased this from a dealer and I’ve had to return 3 times because it pulls so much power that it drains my battery. If I don’t drive my car for one day it depletes my battery. I’ve had to call roadside assistance 3 times. The first time I was on a road trip, it was so embarrassing because I have a Rand new 2024. The app works when it wants to so capturing video is a no no. I had the dealer disconnect it because it was useless to me. He’s a great guy and he’s trying to come up with a solution. He’s contacted the company and it’s always something on their end concerning their app. If he can’t get it to work without depleting my battery then I’m going to request a refund. The price I paid for both a front and rear camera was way too much for it not work properly or being dependent on a horrible app.

I just had a new Drone XC dash cam installed yesterday and when I went to update the serial number it tells me "Device ### must be unassigned or deactivated." Now where do I go from here?

How much amperage does "Event & Motion" consume? Id like to supplement any amperage drain by a full Comoustar CMX and Drone XC combo with a solar panel. Im thinking a 50 watt panel will be plenty for keeping my dual battery system topped up

The problem here in US most places have no cover when you need protection for you car like camping or in the wood ? I have premium plans. I went to the redwood on coast California, and I couldn't connect with my car because no cover so what the Idea

Are you saying both “event & motion” and “motion” will deplete my battery after 2 days? Or just “event & motion” just does that.

Buyer beware! After owning one for just a little over 1 year. My built-in sensors for shock impact and tilt just quit working completely. And diagnosed by my installer! And drone mobile will not back up their product with their warranty after only slightly being over a year old. Now I have to spend another $200 to buy a brand new one! So be aware they're not going to stand behind their product!

I mean, I don’t know. I have DroneMobile on my vehicle. But to pay basically $400 for a one-way camera ….I can see if it was a double with the interior because the camera won’t help if somebody came in from the side from behind the vehicle but to pay 400 for one-way no good I can see if it was $400 for that camera and it has interior in the front of the vehicle and then the back camera can be separate. I can probably deal with that. but the front camera should’ve had a two-way camera 100%

I changed my comment, the camera does auto record when you start the car but you have to access the micro SD card to view and it seems like they are in 30 second clips or so. I guess if you want to record your whole trip in one video, you have to have the app on and hit “tap for live view” and keep the app open. Doesn’t seem very intuitive at all but this is my first, albeit expensive, dash cam. Wish I had done more research before buying this one….

I have it does not record you have to turn it on if you leave the app it stops. Also runs on LTE disconnects all the time.

No good runs on LTE cell cuts off or takes forever to load.
